New MDHS Project:
You are invited to submit photographs of 'Horticultural & Agricultural Implements' used in the Merbein area (vineyards & farms) during the period 1909 to 1970, with a written description and history and use of each implement, where it was used and by whom it was used. (This project has arisen from the spectactular selection of 'old' equipment that was displayed in the 2009 Merbein Centenary Street Parade. A photographic record will be one way of ensuring these many unique implements and the talents of many are not lost over time.)
Your contributions to this project will be greatly appreciated and should be in the hands of Bernadette Wells by the end of FEBRUARY 2011. Please remember to include you own contact details.
